Titulo: IoT Smart City Network with Blockchain and Semantic Web

Resumo: Although today's major cases of Blockchain networks are Fintechs, its extreme security features and decentralized network make it potential for IoT applications. Its fully decentralized network capability and unreliable media capability make Blockchain a potential network for adoption in application domains that require reliable and inviolable auditing capability and usage history, such as Smart Cities {SC}. In this research, we evaluate the possible architectures for these new applications, where we present the key concepts involved. automation using Blockchain, such as Smart Contracts. We also address the challenges and frontends of deploying decentralized IoT applications with security, traceability and auditing, showing some proof of concepts and architectures with Ethereum's Blockchain. in Semantic Web, making it possible to query, store and democratically access data using Web standards and ontologies. A SC consisting of low-power, LoRa and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE} networks will be presented, illustrating the challenges of building an IoT network. independent of mobile network operators, and serves for discussion and survey of open points in the integration of Blockchain and semantic Web to new IoT applications.
